Before joining Aviva Investors in 2022, Richard was Regional Head of Private Markets for Franklin Templeton from 2020 to 2022, and CEO of Asia Pacific & the Middle East for Algebris Investments where he was responsible for driving the growth and development of Algebris’ business from 2013 to 2020. Richard joined Algebris from Morgan Stanley where he led the firms global transition management platform, and Bank of New York Mellon where he was head of sales for APAC across asset management and securities services.
With over 18 years of experience in the APAC region, Tony boasts a diverse background in investment banking, investing, and consulting. After a decade of working his way up to Head of Equity Sales at Morgan Stanley, he went on to found Hedge Fund Consultancy Monroe Partners Asia. Tony began his career at JP Morgan, where he spent 6 years as an Equity Analyst, specializing in Small Cap Equities. He is a passionate investor in both private and listed companies
