Jason has over a decade of experience in funds management, having researched and invested in listed equities across multiple sectors and geographies. Jason is also an angel investor and has been supporting and advising startups for the last 5 years. Jason first met Nick in 2020 and began supporting the business in terms of strategy, pricing, financial modelling and fundraising. Jason made a pre-seed investment into LC after really buying into the founders’ vision and the potential of their technology to deliver a low cost, scalable solution to the very important problem of democratizing the learning of spoken English. 

Nick & the Language Confidence team set out to democratize English language learning. English is arguably the "world language", and having worked in the Middle East, Africa and LATAM, I've seen firsthand the significant gap in life opportunities between those that can afford to learn English and those who can't. I'm opportunistic about a future that allows learners from all walks of life to opt-in to learning English at a price point they can afford.
